Adolescents dealing with behavioral health problems or addiction to drugs and/or alcohol may find help at SummitRidge Hospital. Our professional, caring staff has years of combined experience working with adolescents diagnosed with mood, behavior and substance use disorders.
SummitRidge Hospital’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is an outpatient treatment program for adolescents ages 11–17 offered Monday through Friday.
A psychiatric assessment is given within the first two days of treatment and throughout care. Patients usually attend 7 to 10 days of programming, depending on the individual’s needs.
SummitRidge Hospital offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) to adolescents ages 11–17. This programming is usually four to six weeks. Patients can attend treatment with their own psychiatrist and therapist while still attending IOP sessions. Groups after school allow students to stay involved in their education and affected by the ups and downs of peer and social relationships.
