Branches Outpatient Services
At Branches, a service of SummitRidge Hospital, patients can receive comprehensive treatment for psychiatric or addiction disorders and still return to home or school each day. Outpatient programming is offered as a step down from inpatient care or a step up into treatment and is adjusted to meet the needs of patients through group and family sessions. Each patient will have an individualized treatment plan to meet his or her needs and goals. Branches offers outpatient programs for both adolescents and adults and two convenient locations in Lawrenceville and Athens.
Adolescent Outpatient Programs
SummitRidge Hospital’s 5 Day Program is an outpatient treatment program for adolescents ages 11–17 offered Monday through Friday.
A psychiatric assessment is given within the first two days of treatment and throughout care. Patients usually attend 7 to 10 days of programming, depending on the individual’s needs.
SummitRidge Hospital offers a 3 Day Program to adolescents ages 11–17. This programming is usually four to six weeks. Patients can attend treatment with their own psychiatrist and therapist while still attending sessions.
Adult Outpatient Programs
The Adult 5 Day Program is available for individuals, 18 years or older, who have been diagnosed with a psychiatric condition and/or an addiction. The 5 Day Program addresses the needs of patients whose symptoms do not require the intensity of a 24-hour inpatient program, but still need more support than provided by individual outpatient therapy.
The Adult 3 Day Program is a program for both inpatient treatment and 5 Day Program that provides the opportunity to continue to focus on their treatment issues as they begin to resume their daily lives.
Our Adult Addictive Disorders 3 Day Program is a seven-to-eight-week program designed to assist substance-dependent adults and their families as they address the many issues associated with early recovery.
